Greetings Saturn Enthusiasts!! Please enjoy our latest SPS updates: NEW PRODUCTS The bad news is that we are still struggling to get these darn exhausts made right. We have talked to several local manufacturers. We don't have anything available yet - but we have not given up! Please bear with us! On a brighter note, we have had more success in some other areas. Thursday night, we removed and inspected the front poly test bushings. Everything was still in one piece! We willl be putting these into production soon. We also installed the rear bushings. They required a few "on-the-fly" modifications, but they eventually went in. We intend to make a few design changes, test them one more time, and then begin production. We'll send out pricing as soon as we get it. If you've had trouble with rubbing your struts when using wide tires, our new 5mm spacers may be the answer. These bolt easily onto all front hubs and rear hubs equipped with drum brakes. They are currently in stock at $44.95 per pair. (They can also be used to eliminate the "knobby knee" look from a conservative stock track width.) The totally cool scR motorsports Tshirts and vinyl decals are now in stock! Tshirts are $19.95 each. And the "R-logo" decals are $7.95 each. (Hint: most of the proceeds from these go to support Team scR, so don't be so stingy!) Due to popular demand, we have tracked down some "high-performance" headlight bulbs. We highly doubt that these will add much horsepower, but the 80 watt blue bulbs should add a bit more light than the stock 45 watt bulbs! These are in stock at $19.00 each. We have ordered 10 sets of Blue Nology DOHC wires. We have never tried these before. They cost a bit more, but they look cool. We should have them in stock within 2 weeks. They are priced at $159/set. SCR MOTORSPORTS UPDATE On May 30 and 31, the SPS crew finally had the chance to watch/crew as James Walker and Team scR (the official race team of SPS) raced at Mid-Ohio. Our reaction: WOW, what a total blast! If you have not check out their web site yet, please do! The address is http://www.teamscR.com. This weekend, scR is racing at Watkins Glen in Watkins Glen, New York. Its too late to wish them good luck, so maybe you should email them at

to offer advance congradulations. Their next race is June 26-28 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. SPS INVENTORY STATUS We finally received a large order of Carrera struts on Friday 6-12-98. So those who have been waiting will have an awesome suspension soon. We still have 1 complete set on the shelf after filling all backorders and we have more on order (again), so don't be afraid to order. Carrera will build more! We also received strut tower braces on Friday!! After backorders, there are at least 20 still available. A truckload of Stillen rotors arrived in Dayton on Friday and are scheduled for delivery on Monday. Remember, at $199/pair, they are a bargain. We keep getting calls for Beru Silverstone S3F plugs from non-Saturn owners who can't find them anywhere else. Gone are the days of backorders - our new supplier has kept us stocked! We have 53 plugs on hand now at $7.49 each. SPS IMPROVEMENTS Many of you have watched our rapid growth since we started the Saturn performance movement in 1996. We can still remember the days when speed shops and Saturn retailers laughed at us when we asked them about performance parts for Saturns. But we did not give up. After pleading with aftermarket manufacturers and carefully marketing their products, we managed to assemble a complete and growing line of Saturn products. And we moved enough volume to convince new manufacturers and over 150 Saturn retailers to work with us. Through it all, we invested our profits back into new products, new testing, new marketing, and new events so that the Saturn performance market would become legitimate. The result has been rapid growth for both SPS and the Saturn performance market in general. Sometimes that growth can be awkward, at times causing backorders and busy signals for our customers. But we are making even more changes to ensure continuous improvement. We are now in the process of locating a new warehouse and office facility. This will enable us to add more employees and carry larger inventories. More emplyees will bring more phone lines, more computers, and better service for everyone. We also hope to offer a retail outlet where those in the Dayton area can pick up orders or inspect a part prior to purchase. All of this unfortunately requires lots of cash to complete, so please be patient. We are seriously trying to carefully balance the investment in new products and testing with the investment with new space, help, and inventory. Our ultimate commitment, however, remains to improve the experience of our customers and to expand and improve the entire market for Saturn performance! SPS EVENTS This summer is a big one!
