Document Core Returns Properly to Receive Full Credit
Lately, we have received too many core returns that have not included the proper documentation. In fact, many of these core returns have had no documentation to identify the owners at all – not even a return shipping address! This makes it rather difficult to give the proper credit for the core return.
To avoid such problems, please be sure to send a copy of your original invoice within the shipment!
Also, please remember that all shipments to the SPS warehouse must be properly identified. This means that core returns should be addressed to, ‘Attn: Core Returns.’ And returns that require a return merchandise authorization should be addressed to, ‘Attn: RMA_____.’ Any parcels that are not identified with a RMA number or as a core return will be refused!

Koni’s adjustable dampers have long been legendary for their performance in racing applications. And now Koni offers direct replacement bolt-on adjustable front and rear dampers for Saturn’s ION models. These excellent struts feature compress-to-adjust rebound damping and factory OE mounting attachments. The front struts also feature a fixed position OE factory spring perch. (Note: Front struts are specific to driver and passenger sides and require a refundable core deposit.) The front units are part number KO2003 (L for left, R for right) for $249.00 each. The rear units are part number KO2796 for $109.00 each.

With safety and performance in mind, Piaa has developed the new Super Sporza Wiper System. The Super Sporza is a modified version of the Super Silicone Wiper with an integral lightweight UV-resistant spoiler to prevent aerodynamic lift and to hold the blade flat against the glass at high speeds. Each car set includes both driver and passenger sides and blade inserts that are good for up to 12 months. Choose from the basic black or stylish carbon fiber finish. Momo recently introduced two new shift knobs, the Module and the Street Ball. The Module knob features a modular construction with customizable tops and inserts. The basic kits are available in either black leather (MOMODBLK,) blue leather (MOMODBLU,) red leather (MOMODRED,) or chrome (MOMODCHR.) The basic kits include a removable silver top and a silver airmetal insert. But each kit can be further modified with an optional chrome top and a selection of available optional inserts including red, blue, black, or chrome. The Module knobs start at $102.00 each. The Module knobs are also available in the Reverse style – which accommodates the European lift-for-reverse lockout feature.

SPS Racing
After a stunning victory at the 2003 Valvoline Runoffs in which he earned the national SCCA championship in showroom stock C, Michael Kramer and the Thundersport team plan to race an ION Red Line in SCCA Touring 2 (T2) during the 2004 season.
The Red Line was recently classified in T2. And although competition in the class will be VERY significant (thanks to Z28s, 350Zs, CTS-Vs, and other high horsepower rear-wheel-drive vehicles,) Mike and his team are excited about the challenge.
‘It’s going to be tough,’ Mike said, referring to the 2004 season in T2. ‘There are some very fast cars in T2 – most with a lot more power and rear wheel drive. But, this Red Line ION is light years ahead of the S car in terms of technical sophistication. It’s going to be a lot of fun no matter what. And if we can get a little bit of help from the SCCA in terms of a preparation adjustment, we might even have a chance to run with the leaders.’
Preparation of the Thundersport ION is expected to begin soon, thanks to help from SPS, Panasonic, Red Line Oil, Carbotech brake pads, and Kumho tires.

Shipping Cost Estimates
You probably know by now that the SPS website (spswebpage.com) does not offer a utility to estimate shipping costs. The reason for this is that shipping cost calculations are fairly complicated – and usually require some human intervention to do accurately.
The standard carrier for all SPS shipments is United Parcel Service (UPS.) UPS rates depend upon the weight of the box, the size of the box, the insured value of the box, the origin, the destination, and the level of service selected. Even if you could write a software application that could calculate rates with these known values, it would only be accurate for single item orders. For any order including more than one item, we ultimately need a human being to make a decision as to how those items can be combined and how many boxes will be required. (And then to calculate the weight and value of each box.)
However, SPS team members are able and willing to estimate shipping costs upon request. And we understand that knowing this cost in advance is often required in order to make a purchase decision. So you can Contact Us at any time to request a quote.
Please remember that we will need some information from you before we can do any calculation. Specifically, we need to know your zip code, a complete list of items that you wish to ship at the same time, and the desired service level. Your service level options include: Ground, 3-Day Select, 2-Day Air, Next Day Air Saver (in most areas,) and Next Day Air. Ground is the cheapest (and slowest) service, but even this takes a maximum of only 5 working days to the farthest destinations throughout the US. (Most of the Midwest and East Coast are only 2 to 3 working days away by ground!)
