Tools and Supplies: You will need two 10mm sockets (one long and one short), a ratchet (preferably 1/4in drive since its smaller and more maneuverable), a flat head screwdriver, and an extension for the ratchet (2 or 3-inch will do). (If you have a Saturn custom bra, then you will also need a 7mm socket and a Phillips head screwdriver.) The Procedure: - Using the flathead screwdriver, loosen and remove the fasteners at the front end of the wheel-well fender liner. This will allow access to the rear bolt on the corner lamp. (You will need the Phillips screwdriver, 7mm socket, and the flathead if you have a Saturn custom bra.)
- Open the hood and place headlights in the ‘up’ position with lights off.
- Loosen all the quarter panel bolts along the inside ledge and remove the first three (so that you can get the lamp out).
- Using the ratchet and long socket, reach beneath the front end along the quarter panel and remove the front bolt from the lamp being removed.
- Using the ratchet w/extension and short socket, reach through the fender liner and remove the rear bolt of the lamp being removed.
- Being careful not to bend the quarter panel, lift upward on the inside front end of the quarter panel and jiggle the lamp free of its housing.
- Pull the old lamp out from the quarter panel – being careful not to break any wires.
- Twist and pull out the bulbs from the old lamp and install the bulbs into the new clear corner lamp.
- Install new corner lamp using reverse order of this procedure.
- Tighten all removed bolts.
