1. Remove the plug wire boots from the ignition module (coil pack) terminals and set aside. 2. Using an 8mmsocket, remove the two bolts at the top of each ignition module. 3. Insert the boots of the ignition cables into the retainer clips. Be sure that the boot is pressed firmly into the clip. (Only a small portion of the boot should be visible from the front of the clip once the boot is inserted completely.) 4. Press the boots back onto the ignition module terminals. Take care to maintain the proper order. (The proper order along the ignition module from passenger to driver side is 4,1,2,3.) 5. Insert the long bolt from the kit through the clip and into the ignition module and tighten. (Note: if the bolt fails to line-up with the hole in the module, then the boot is not fully inserted into the clip.) |
