hey the cold air intake for the s series on this site f45rom aem says that it fits a 00-02 but i would like to know would that one fit my 1999 sl2

No it does not.
91-99 DOHC used horizontal throttle orientation.
00-02 DOHC used vertical throttle orientation.
So the intake attachment point is different.
FYI: All 95-02 SOHC used the horizontal throttle orientation.

thats great to know but is there another aem cold air intake for a 1999 DOHC sitting around for sale there for $174 and not a short ram air either i want a true cold air intake
